How Certificate Verification Works
Every Vaultora purchase generates a unique, tamper-proof certificate linked to a specific gold bar serial number in our vault registry.
Enter Certificate ID
Input the VA-YYYY-NNNNN number from your digital certificate, email receipt, or ownership document.
Registry Lookup
We query the Vaultora ownership registry in real time, cross-referencing vault inventory and bar serial numbers.

Cryptographic hash validation confirms the certificate has not been altered, revoked, or fraudulently duplicated.

Why Trust Vaultora Certificates
Cryptographically Signed
Each certificate carries a SHA-256 verification hash tied to the bar serial and certificate ID, making forgery impossible.
Vault-Backed
Certificates map 1:1 to allocated bars in LBMA-certified vaults. Inventory is audited quarterly by independent firms.
Publicly Verifiable
Anyone — owners, beneficiaries, auditors, or buyers — can verify authenticity without logging in.
Verification FAQ
Who can verify a certificate? +
Anyone with the certificate number can verify authenticity through this public portal. No account or login is required.
Why is the owner name partially hidden? +
We mask owner details on public verification to protect privacy. Full ownership information is available to the certificate holder in their vault dashboard.
What if my certificate shows "Not Found"? +
Double-check the certificate number format. Certificates that have been revoked, fully delivered (transferred out of vault), or contain typos will not return results.
Can I download or print my certificate? +
Yes. Logged-in account holders can download a PDF certificate from their vault dashboard under Certificates.
How often is the gold value updated? +
The current value shown during verification uses Vaultora's live spot price feed, updated every few seconds during market hours.
