How often do Vaultora prices update? +
Spot prices refresh every few seconds during market hours, reflecting live market movements. Product buy prices include premiums that update with spot.
What benchmark does Vaultora use? +
We price against the LBMA PM Gold Fix — the global standard for institutional gold trading. All Vaultora bars are 999.9 fine gold (24 karat).
Why is the buy price higher than spot? +
The premium covers minting, assay, vault intake, insurance, and certificate issuance. Premiums range from 0.5% on 100g+ bars to 1.2% on 1g bars.
Can I lock in a price before paying? +
When you initiate a purchase, the spot price is locked for 10 minutes while you complete payment. After that, the price may adjust with the market.
Do you show prices in other currencies? +
Currently all prices are displayed in USD. Multi-currency support (EUR, GBP, CHF) is on our roadmap for 2026.
